Impacting, Improving, Learning

Below are some of my most transformative work experiences where I left a mark and carried with me invaluable skills and knowledge.

Sponsorship Coordinator

During the Summer of 2025, I worked full-time as the sponsorship coordinator for the Student Success and Leadership Centre at the University of Windsor.

My role was to conduct strategic outreach with the goal of generating funds through event sponsorships. I designed a sponsorship package (see below), used multiple email templates, phone calls, and meetings to pitch to potential partners.

My efforts resulted in up to $10,000 in sponsorship funding including prize giveaways.

In addition, I presented multiple seminars to hundreds of incoming undergraduate students at the orientation sessions.

Ambassador - Tour Guide

I have delivered over 100 campus tours to prospective students. A campus tour includes:

  • A 30-minute presentation on campus residence
  • A 30-minute tour around main campus plus faculty-specific visitation
  • Ongoing relationship management via Unibuddy

Radio Production Assistant

I have worked with CJAM 99.1FM since the Summer of 2023. My work aimed to expand CJAM's efforts to support local art and culture by inviting numerous guest speakers onto the air. I have interviewed students, faculty, business leaders, city executives, and activists.

The studio uses Adobe Audition to produce its programs which I became very familiar with.

I produced my own 3-episode podcast featuring 2 guest speakers.

Run Club Coordinator

Starting my first semester at UWindsor in the Summer of 2022 to the Fall of 2024, I led Lancer Recreation's outdoor running program. This was targetted at beginners who wanted to find community and develop their endurance up to 5K.

My role was to coordinate the program with the Fitness Conditioning Supervisor and promote it to students.

I designed a 0-5K program which allowed first-time runners to progress toward their goals.

I used MapMyRun to create dynamic run routes based on ability and skill.

Graduate Assistant

Since graduating with my Bachelor's Honours in Communication and Media, I served as a graduate assistant whilst pursuing my Masters degree. My roles involved:

  • Conducting lab tutorials to undergraduate students.
  • Grading assignments and exam papers.
  • Resolving queries regarding course material from students.
  • Coordinating diverse administrative tasks with my supervising instructor.

Projectionist

For 3 years I worked as a projectionist for the Windsor International Film Festival, the largest volunteer-run film festival in Canada.

This role involved the operation of industry-grade film projection equipment to audiences of thousands. Therefore, an intensive training program is undergone upon recruitment.

We used the Zello mobile app for around-the-clock communication to coordinate lighting, sound, and media queues in a fast-paced festival program.
